October 2020 Wildlife Species Challenge

One of my wildlife groups holds a Wildlife Species Challenge in October. The challenge is to select one species seen each day in October, without duplicating entries during the month. Entries cannot be changed after the 3-day grace period to enter a species for that day.

This image series will be updated each day with my selection for Wildlife Species of the Day. I personally try to submit an entry on the day it was seen and not change it once the day is over. I only submit an entry if I have a photograph taken that day, even though it is not required to have photo documentation of the sighting.
