European Goldfinch: At the conservation area

This bird landed so suddenly and ever so briefly in this obscured spot, where I quickly got off three photos before it took off again, flew straight out of the conservation area, across the street, and onward. So I never had a chance to reposition myself for a better view and it did not do me the favor of moving to an unobstructed perch. I could be disappointed, but honestly, the odds that I would have been in that exact spot at that exact moment just to get these photos are so slim that I am grateful to have gotten something.
