The focus is on the images rather than on text content. Our first Image Series illustrates various plants that attract American Goldfinches. The series can be updated over time. You can visit our Image Series Index here: Image Series Index or via the Gallery Menu.

In addition to the new Image Series feature, the Closer Look view has been added to the Gallery, the Species pages, Blog Pages, and the About Us Page. The Closer Look view can be accessed by clicking on an image. It then takes you to a page with a larger rendition of the image, information about the camera, lens, shot date, location, and camera settings, and sometimes additional information about the photograph. You can then cycle through the images on the page you came from with the previous and next buttons (located at the sides of the image or below the image and data) and return back to the page you started from by clicking the "Back To" button.
